Partner Manual — Guardian Hub

Welcome to the Guardian Hub Partner Program. This manual is your comprehensive guide to earning commissions, white-labeling the platform, managing client websites, and leveraging our dedicated partner tools to grow your business.

Who Should Read This Manual

  • Affiliates — individuals or companies that refer new customers and earn commissions on each conversion.
  • Resellers — partners who purchase Guardian Hub services at wholesale rates and resell them under their own pricing model.
  • Agency Partners — web agencies that integrate Guardian Hub into their service offering, managing dozens or hundreds of client sites from a unified dashboard.

What Partners Can Do

  • Earn recurring commissions on every referred customer.
  • White-label the entire Guardian Hub platform with your own branding.
  • Manage client sites, billing, and reports from a single partner dashboard.
  • Access exclusive marketing resources, banners, email templates, and case studies.
  • Receive dedicated partner support with priority response times.
Important
This manual covers the Partner Program as of March 2026. Commission rates, tier requirements, and features are subject to change. Always check the partner dashboard for the latest terms.

Partners automatically upgrade to a higher tier when they meet the requirements for two consecutive months. Downgrades occur after three consecutive months below the tier threshold, with a 30-day grace period and email notification.

Clarification
All commission rates are calculated on the net revenue (excluding taxes and refunds). Commissions are locked in for the lifetime of a referred customer, even if you downgrade tiers later.

You must connect a valid payout method before your first commission payment can be processed. Unverified payment details will result in payout holds.

Bank Transfer (SWIFT) EUR, USD, GBP 3–5 business days €15 per transfer
PayPal EUR, USD, GBP 1–2 business days 2.9% + €0.35

4. Commission Model

Guardian Hub offers a transparent, tiered commission structure that rewards partners for both volume and loyalty.

4.1 Revenue Share by Tier

Tier Recurring Commission One-Time Bonus (New Enterprise) Lifetime Value Cap
Affiliate 15% €50 None
Reseller 25% €150 None
Agency Partner 30% €500 None

4.2 One-Time vs. Recurring Commissions

  • Recurring commissions are paid every month for as long as the referred customer remains active and pays their subscription.
  • One-time bonuses are paid when a referred customer signs up for an Enterprise plan. These are paid in addition to the recurring commission.

4.3 Multi-Level Tracking

Agency Partners can recruit sub-affiliates. When a sub-affiliate generates a sale, the recruiting Agency Partner earns an additional 5% override commission on that sale, in addition to the sub-affiliate's own commission.

Clarification
Multi-level tracking is limited to one level deep. Sub-affiliates cannot recruit further sub-affiliates for commission purposes.

4.4 Commission Calculation Examples

Scenario Customer Plan Monthly Price Your Tier Monthly Commission Annual Earnings
Referral A Starter €29/mo Affiliate (15%) €4.35 €52.20
Referral B Professional €79/mo Reseller (25%) €19.75 €237.00
Referral C Business €199/mo Agency (30%) €59.70 €716.40
Referral D Enterprise €499/mo Agency (30%) €149.70 + €500 bonus €2,296.40
Default Values
  • Commission lock-in: lifetime (as long as the customer remains active)
  • Churn grace period: 30 days — if a customer cancels and resubscribes within 30 days, the referral attribution is preserved
  • Refund deduction: commissions are clawed back for full refunds issued within 14 days

6. Tracking & Attribution

Accurate tracking ensures you receive credit for every customer you refer. Guardian Hub uses a multi-signal attribution system combining cookies, account linking, and manual attribution.

6.1 Cookie Duration

Partner Tier Cookie Duration Details
Affiliate 30 days Standard first-click attribution
Reseller 60 days Last-click attribution with 60-day window
Agency Partner 90 days Last-click attribution with extended window

6.2 How Conversions Are Attributed

  1. Cookie-based: when a visitor clicks your referral link, a tracking cookie is set. If they sign up within the cookie window, the conversion is attributed to you.
  2. Coupon-based: if a customer uses a coupon code linked to your partner account, the conversion is attributed regardless of cookies.
  3. Manual attribution: for enterprise deals where the customer contacts Guardian Hub directly, you can request manual attribution by providing the lead's details through the dashboard.
Important
If multiple partners are involved in a single conversion, the last-click attribution model applies by default. Agency Partners can request first-click attribution by contacting their account manager.

6.3 Real-Time Tracking Dashboard

The tracking dashboard updates in real time and shows:

  • Clicks per link, per day/week/month
  • Conversion events (signup, trial start, paid conversion)
  • Pending attributions awaiting confirmation
  • Cookie status and expiration dates for active prospects

6.4 Attribution Disputes

If you believe a conversion was not correctly attributed, you can file a dispute:

Step-by-Step: Filing an Attribution Dispute
  1. Go to Partner Dashboard > Conversions.
  2. Locate the relevant conversion or click "Report Missing Conversion".
  3. Provide the customer's email, the date of the referral, and any supporting evidence (screenshots, email correspondence).
  4. Submit the dispute. The partner team will review within 5 business days.
  5. You will be notified of the resolution via email and dashboard notification.

The attribution dashboard provides a real-time view of clicks, conversions, and pending attributions.

7. Payouts

Guardian Hub processes partner payouts on a monthly cycle. This section covers schedules, thresholds, and supported methods.

7.1 Payout Schedule

  • Commission accrual: commissions accrue throughout the calendar month based on customer payments received.
  • Lock date: the 5th of the following month — all commissions from the previous month are finalized.
  • Payout date: between the 10th and 15th of each month.
Default Values
  • Minimum payout threshold: €50 (balances below this roll over to the next month)
  • Payout currency: EUR (default). USD and GBP available on request.
  • Holding period: first payout is subject to a 30-day holding period for fraud prevention

7.2 Supported Payment Methods

PayPal EUR, USD, GBP €50 1–2 business days
Stripe Connect EUR, USD, GBP €50 1–2 business days

Every payout is logged in your dashboard with a detailed breakdown:

  • Payout date and amount
  • Commission breakdown per referred customer
  • Deductions (refunds, chargebacks)
  • Payment method and transaction ID
  • Downloadable PDF invoice for each payout

7.4 Multi-Currency Support

Partners can choose to receive payouts in EUR, USD, or GBP. Currency conversion is applied at the ECB (European Central Bank) reference rate on the payout lock date. To change your payout currency:

  1. Go to Settings > Payment Details.
  2. Select your preferred currency.
  3. Save changes. The new currency applies from the next payout cycle.
Important
Currency changes take effect in the next billing cycle. You cannot change currency for a payout that has already been locked.

A ranked table shows your most effective referral links sorted by conversion rate, total revenue, or click volume. Use this data to double down on what works and retire underperforming links.

9.4 Geographic Distribution

A world map and table show where your referrals originate. Data includes:

  • Country-level click distribution
  • Conversion rate by country
  • Revenue per region
  • Top 10 cities by volume
Clarification

  • Your color scheme throughout the interface.
  • No mention of "Guardian Hub" anywhere in the client-facing experience.
Important

  • Churn Risk Indicator: AI-powered prediction of clients likely to cancel.
  • Renewal Reminders: automated alerts 30 and 7 days before subscription renewal.
Important
Client satisfaction surveys are sent under your branding for white-label partners. You can customize survey questions and timing from Settings > Client Surveys.

16. Billing for Partners

This section explains how billing works from the partner's perspective, covering both commission-based and wholesale models.

16.1 How Partner Billing Works

  • Affiliates: no billing from Guardian Hub. You earn commissions that are paid out monthly.
  • Resellers: invoiced monthly at wholesale rates for all active client subscriptions managed through your account.
  • Agency Partners: invoiced monthly or annually at custom wholesale rates. Volume-based pricing adjusts automatically.

16.2 Invoice Management

All invoices are available in Partner Dashboard > Billing > Invoices:

  • View and download PDF invoices for each billing period.
  • Invoices include detailed line items per client site.
  • Credit notes are generated automatically for refunds or downgrade adjustments.
  • Set up automatic payment via saved card or SEPA direct debit.

16.3 Tax Documentation

Document When Issued Purpose
Monthly Invoice 5th of each month Wholesale charges for Reseller/Agency accounts
Commission Statement 10th of each month Breakdown of commissions earned (all tiers)
Annual Summary January 31st Year-end summary for tax filing
W-8BEN / Tax Form On request Required for non-EU partners for withholding tax

16.4 Revenue Reconciliation

At the end of each month, the system runs an automatic reconciliation:

  1. All customer payments received during the month are tallied.
  2. Refunds and chargebacks are deducted.
  3. Your commission percentage is applied to the net revenue.
  4. The resulting commission amount is added to your payout balance.
  5. A reconciliation report is generated and available for download.
Default Values
  • Invoice payment terms: Net 15 (due within 15 days of issue)
  • Late payment fee: 1.5% per month on overdue balances
  • Auto-payment retry: 3 attempts over 7 days before account suspension

17. Discount Structures

Partners have access to various discount programs to help acquire and retain clients.

17.1 Volume Discounts

Reseller and Agency Partners receive automatic volume discounts based on the number of active client subscriptions:

Active Subscriptions Discount Effective Wholesale Rate
1 – 9 0% Standard wholesale
10 – 24 5% Wholesale − 5%
25 – 49 10% Wholesale − 10%
50 – 99 15% Wholesale − 15%
100+ 20%+ Custom negotiated

17.2 Promotional Pricing

Partners can create limited-time promotional offers for their clients:

  • First-month discount: offer new clients up to 50% off their first month.
  • Extended trial: offer a 30-day free trial (standard is 14 days).
  • Annual prepay bonus: clients who pay annually get 2 months free.

Spring Cleaning March–April Free malware cleanup + discounted annual plan
Cyber Security Month October 40% off all plans for new customers
Black Friday / Cyber Monday November 50% off first year on annual plans
Clarification
Partner commissions during promotional campaigns are calculated on the discounted price paid by the customer. For example, if a customer pays €50 instead of €100 during a promotion, your commission is based on €50.

18. Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: How long does it take to get approved as a partner?

Applications are typically reviewed within 3–5 business days. You will receive an email notification once a decision is made. Incomplete applications may take longer.

Q2: Can I be both an affiliate and a reseller?

No. You can only be in one tier at a time. However, you can upgrade from Affiliate to Reseller or Agency Partner at any time by meeting the tier requirements and contacting partner support.

Q3: What happens to my commissions if a customer downgrades their plan?

Your recurring commission is adjusted to reflect the new plan price. You continue earning commissions on the lower amount. If the customer upgrades later, your commission increases accordingly.

Q4: Is there a minimum contract period for the partner program?

There is no minimum contract period. You can leave the partner program at any time. However, earned commissions are paid out according to the standard payout schedule, and you forfeit future recurring commissions upon leaving.

Q5: Can I use paid advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads) with my referral links?

Yes, but you must comply with the Partner Advertising Policy. You may not bid on Guardian Hub branded keywords (e.g., "Guardian Hub", "Guardian Hub pricing"). Bidding on generic security-related keywords is permitted.

Q6: How are referrals tracked if the customer clears their cookies?

If cookies are cleared, the referral may not be tracked automatically. However, if the customer uses your coupon code during signup, attribution is preserved. You can also request manual attribution through the dashboard.

Q7: Can I refer existing Guardian Hub customers?

No. The partner program only applies to new customer acquisitions. Existing customers who are already on a paid plan are not eligible for referral commissions.

Q8: What happens if my referred customer requests a refund?

If a refund is issued within 14 days of purchase, the corresponding commission is clawed back from your balance. Refunds after 14 days do not affect your commissions.

Q9: Can I white-label the Guardian Hub plugin as well?

Yes, Agency Partners can white-label the WordPress plugin. The plugin will display your branding instead of Guardian Hub. This feature is configured under White Label > Plugin Branding.

Q10: How do I migrate existing clients from another security provider to Guardian Hub?

Guardian Hub offers a free migration service for partners with 10+ client sites. Contact your account manager or submit a migration request through the dashboard. The process typically takes 24–48 hours per site.

Q11: Are there geographic restrictions on the partner program?

The Guardian Hub Partner Program is available worldwide. However, payout methods may vary by country. Partners in sanctioned countries are not eligible.

Q12: Can I earn commissions on my own account?

No. Self-referrals are not permitted and will result in commission forfeiture. The system automatically detects and blocks self-referral attempts.

19. Troubleshooting

Common issues partners encounter and how to resolve them.

19.1 Referral Not Tracked

Resolution Steps
  1. Verify the referral link is correctly formatted and contains your partner ID (?ref=YOUR_ID).
  2. Check that the customer did not use a different browser or device between clicking and signing up.
